Introducing our opening night event: Renewable Cities Powered by PechaKucha
We’re very excited to open the Global Learning Forum with an inspirational evening event. During the evening of Wednesday, May 13 participants and partners will gather at the Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema in downtown Vancouver for Renewable Cities Powered by PechaKucha. This event will set the stage for the rest of the Global Learning Forum by sharing the stories of several of our inspiring speakers and session leaders. The format of PechaKucha is “20 images x 20 seconds” for each presenter, which results in an intimate, unique and highly visual exposition.

“Powered by PechaKucha” events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events. These events include presentations that use the PechaKucha 20 images x 20 seconds format. Find out more at PechaKucha.org.
