Travel

Transit

Metro Vancouver has an excellent public transit system. Bus, SeaBus, and SkyTrain are often the most economical and easy ways to travel. For more information, see the website for Translink, Metro Vancouver’s public transit agency. The cost of taking transit depends on how many zones you are passing through. You can buy fares with cash, debit or credit in any SkyTrain station at the ticket vending machines. If you get onto a bus without a previously purchased ticket, you will need exact change. A fare will last 90 minutes from when it was purchased it and allow you to shift between different public transit modes (ie: SkyTrain to bus). Translink has a handy online trip planning tool where you can find the best routes and services to get you where you need to go.  For more information call Translink at +1 (604) 953-3333 and a representative can offer assistance
